Those are hilarious. I think Sorens is my favorite. That is a good idea to write all those things down. I always think I’ll remember them and can write it down later, but that never happens and soon they are forgotten. Thanks for sharing, keep them coming.

Oh my gosh as soon as I posted that one I thought of another Megan “classic”.
She was extremely upset after finding a dead bird on the ground. I quickly saw this as a teaching moment, ran for the “glove” and proceeded to teach Megan about the body and the spirit and how they would someday be reunited through the power of the ressurection. After what I’m sure was a rather long winded explanation I looked into her eyes and asked, “Megan – do you understand what I just taught you?” She looked back at me and said, “Yeah…..but Mom……he’s still dead”.

These are darling Derek. One that stands out to me was when I sent Megan to her room for misbehaving and telling her that she was not allowed to have any fun if she had to act that way. I then got involved doing something that made me totally forget that she had been sent to her room. About an hour later she called out of her room and asked, “Mom – do you think I should come out now, because I’m really having a lot of fun back here”. That is one that I will never forget.
